Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join us in the Essex Region with great customer service skills to join our hard‑working and friendly Maintenance team to complete ongoing renovation projects within our Care Home group covering 11 homes. Excelcare is a family‑owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct painting and decorating work within residents' homes, including rooms, paintwork, corridors, lounges, etc.
  • Ensure high quality work and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude and professional appearance.
  • Use own basic tools; materials provided by employer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Painter & Decorator.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Valid full driving licence and own vehicle for travel between homes.
  • Completed enhanced DBS (Criminal Records Check).

Pay & Hours

Salary: £15.26 per hour, 45 hours a week, 8 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday.
