Responsibilities
- Prepare hot meals, salads, sandwiches, potato products and sauces, including assembling food items, baking and preparing cooked items to service standards.
- Comply with food safety, health and safety and COSHH legislation and Trust policies and procedures.
- Manage stock and place orders to ensure correct levels of stock are maintained in line with service instructions, keeping waste to a minimum.
- Cash handling including daily cashing up and balancing of float.
- Follow service instructions ensuring standards are kept high.
- Maintain cleaning standards to support a 5* rating.
