The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

We have an opportunity for casual staff to join our team. We host a range of events at The Great Yorkshire Events Centre, from trade shows to gala dinners and everything in between. The Great Yorkshire Events Centre also plays an important role in the Great Yorkshire Show, hosting the Home & Gift Hall, the Food Hall and the Cheese & Dairy Show. We host around three events a month and often require a team of casual staff to support our core team. This role is not full-time or part-time due to the nature of the events business. This is a hands-on role that requires a certain degree of physical work.

As our events are ever changing, an exhaustive list of tasks is not possible, but the core duties include:

  • Laying out furniture according to plans
  • Assisting with waste management within the venue
  • Cleaning of the venue, including use of cleaning machines
  • Providing front-of-house services if requested by clients

Shifts are added to our app on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Qualifications: No experience is required, as full training will be given.
