About the Role
Lead the team to deliver accurate, on-time product definitions and technical outputs that meet business and customer requirements. Manage processes for WIS/job briefs, drawings, models and BOMs, coordinate cross‑functional inputs to ensure documentation accuracy. Focus on continuous improvement, reducing cost, improving efficiency and achieving "right first time" performance through DFMA, engineering change and robust review processes. Monitor KPIs across cost, quality and delivery, and take action where needed. Work closely with R&D to ensure designs are manufacturable, aligned to capability and cost targets, and smoothly transferred into production. Support strong quality and compliance standards, collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to reduce non‑conformances and warranty issues.
Qualifications
- Strong background in leading multi‑disciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineering.
- Set clear expectations, drive accountability and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
- Solid experience in product definition, drawings, models, BOMs (bill of material) with focus on accuracy, compliance and on‑time delivery.
- Commercially aware, work confidently with Sales and customers to support new opportunities and quotations.
- Understand DFMA, cost reduction via engineering change and structured problem‑solving, use KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of quality systems, CE marking and reducing non‑conformances.
- Communicate effectively across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales.
