We are looking for a Reactive Working Supervisor to lead and support our in‑house reactive repairs teams. You will ensure safe, high‑quality, customer‑focused repairs across our homes, balancing hands‑on support with effective supervision.
What you’ll do
- Supervise a team of skilled trade operatives, ensuring work is completed right the first time, within target timescales, and in full compliance with health & safety and CDM regulations.
- Carry out quality inspections and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Develop and motivate your team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and right‑first‑time delivery.
- Manage in‑house reactive works against departmental KPIs and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and provide excellent customer service.
- Work flexibly, dedicating two days to supervision and three days to supporting the team, as business needs dictate.
What you’ll bring to the role
- City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a building trade.
- Experience in maintenance with knowledge of building construction and planned maintenance.
- SMSTS / SSSTS qualification or equivalent, or working towards it.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations such as CDM and WHQS.
- Strong understanding of H&S requirements, including risk assessments and compliance.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Effective customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and programme work to meet targets and deadlines.
- Effective team player who can respond quickly to changing demands and conditions.
- Full UK driving licence.
