As a Care Assistant at our St Georges Court Care Home in Cambridge, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability and support will make a difference every day. Excelcare is a family‑owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mealtimes and personal care.
  • Complete documentation, including daily record keeping, charts and care plans.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with residents.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect for all residents.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a care environment—care home, home care worker, or caring for a loved one.
  • A caring and kind approach with a desire to work with older people.

Working Hours

Night shifts from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., Monday – Sunday. Must be able to work alternate weekends.

Salary

£13.45 per hour. Bank vacancy hours available.
