This role offers a base salary of £30,000 and an OTE of up to £40,000 and is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads, targeting major blue-chip companies and SMEs using data, LinkedIn and independent research.
  • Gather and maintain accurate customer information in a CRM system.
  • Use targeted cleansed data to identify leads and manage a Dripify account, tailoring AI responses and guiding the automation process.
  • Identify decision makers and potential requirements.
  • Maintain close relationships with prospects and clients, fostering opportunities for further sales.
  • Develop and manage existing customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Director on sales strategy and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Writer to support proposal development.
  • Promote the business on LinkedIn, network, and initiate and progress leads.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO.

Required skills and experience

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and initiative.
  • Professional and confident phone manner.
  • Confidence to deal with people at all levels and of different backgrounds.
  • Experience within the security or facilities management sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in a similar business development role.

Benefits

  • 21 days holiday per annum plus all UK Bank Holidays; holiday allowance increases by 1 day per year up to 25 days.
  • Commission of £100 per qualifying appointment made.
  • Contributory pension scheme.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.
