Responsibilities:
- Oversee page production, monitoring flow and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth process.
- Organise weekly production meetings and keep the flat plan up to date.
- Maintain agreed schedules and ensure teams adhere to them.
- Manage digital content production, including Apple News, digital editions, newsletters and CMS uploads.
- Perform meticulous sub‑bing of copy to maintain accuracy, quality and the brand’s editorial style and tone.
- Ensure all picture and feature credits are correct.
- Handle page fitting and liaise with contributors.
- Conduct final proofing of print and digital issues.
- Write heads, sells and captions for print and digital.
- Maintain awareness of key developments within the interiors world.
- Assist in general office administration when required.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing, sub‑editing and proofreading skills with the ability to create informative and engaging copy.
- Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with experience managing editorial processes and prioritising workloads.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel and general Mac skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a busy and dynamic team environment, adapt flexibly and remain professional.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Proven experience of running a complex magazine production process.
- Knowledge of the interiors and antiques market, or at least a keen personal interest in home decor (desirable).
- Familiarity with creating content for digital platforms, including websites, Apple News, newsletters and social media (desirable).
