Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all post cast checks are carried out by conducting visual and measurement checks to finished units
  • Ensure NCRs are raised in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure that vesting photographs are taken for all units produced
  • Ensure the accurate extent of finished is marked clearly and legibly on each panel
  • Work with other members of the Quality team and production personnel to reduce and eliminate non-conformances
  • Utilize technology i.e. QC tablets, in driving a more efficient working ethos
  • Responsible for the accurate creation and storage of QC records and drawings
  • Ensure you use Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment in a correct manner
  • Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are issued and used as appropriate

Required Qualifications/Expertise

  • 3rd Level qualification in Engineering/Construction desirable
  • Qualification in Lean Manufacturing (Yellow or Green Belt) desirable
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • 2+ years' experience operating in a similar role
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment
