Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all post cast checks are carried out by conducting visual and measurement checks to finished units
- Ensure NCRs are raised in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure that vesting photographs are taken for all units produced
- Ensure the accurate extent of finished is marked clearly and legibly on each panel
- Work with other members of the Quality team and production personnel to reduce and eliminate non-conformances
- Utilize technology i.e. QC tablets, in driving a more efficient working ethos
- Responsible for the accurate creation and storage of QC records and drawings
- Ensure you use Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment in a correct manner
- Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are issued and used as appropriate
Required Qualifications/Expertise
- 3rd Level qualification in Engineering/Construction desirable
- Qualification in Lean Manufacturing (Yellow or Green Belt) desirable
- Excellent computer literacy
- 2+ years' experience operating in a similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment
