Position: Mobile Security Officer (Car) - Days
Location: Basildon & Canning Town
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Days only (07:00-19:00)
Salary: £13.78 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- A Daytime Mobile Security Officer will be at the heart of our frontline operations, responding to alarms, carrying out patrols and ensuring our clients’ sites remain safe, secure and compliant.
- You will work across multiple locations, build strong relationships with clients, and play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, technology‑enabled security service.

What your day will look like:
- Respond quickly and effectively to alarm activations and emergency call‑outs
- Carry out proactive mobile patrols across a range of client sites to maintain security and visibility
- Manage lock/unlock services, vacant property inspections and access requests with precision
- Take full ownership of client keys and access systems, ensuring strict control and accountability
- Support site surveys and help set up new client locations
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks to stay operationally ready
- Produce clear, accurate incident reports and maintain detailed operational records
- Represent TKC professionally at all times during client interactions and site visits
- Work closely with your team to create a positive, supportive and high‑performing environment
- Support the upkeep of fleet, equipment and overall operational readiness
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client queries and improve service delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvements, including the rollout of new tools and technology
What we’re looking for:
- Valid SIA Frontline Licence
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT literacy (mobile systems / Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Professional, reliable and proactive approach
- Previous experience in mobile security, keyholding or alarm response
- Experience using incident reporting or workforce systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota
