Role Overview: Weekend and Bank Holidays Care Assistant in Northern Trust. Provide care and support to clients in their own homes, delivering individual care plans and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing and personal care to clients while maintaining dignity, independence, and safety.
- Assist with mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, and basic household tasks.
- Develop and follow care plans, documenting activities and changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members and family.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a car.
- Ability to work 3-4 shifts per weekend and on bank holidays as required.
- Willingness to travel within the designated trust area.
- Desirable: 6+ months formal care experience.
- Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent.
- Desirable: NISCC registered or willing to undertake upon successful selection.
