We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based at our Ambleside site. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly. Due to the location of the site, and the need to occasionally use an onsite vehicle, applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to Campus in regards to classroom set ups
- Responding to Fire Alarm activations
- Providing an onsite professional security presence
- Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and antisocial behaviour
- Provide protection for customers, property and staff
- Internal and external site patrols
Requirements
- First Aid trained
- Smart and presentable
- Polite and approachable
- Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
- Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
- Punctual & reliable
- Be flexible for work shifts
- Provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
