Come and join our team in Stoke on Trent. We have an excellent team of committed and hardworking staff and we are looking for a like-minded individual who wishes to continue their career in the accountancy field as part of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of bookkeeping services using Xero or Quickbooks from incomplete client's records
  • Preparation of business and statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards
  • Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
  • Liaising with clients over matters arising
  • Advising on personal and tax liabilities
  • Supervise and support more junior colleagues in their tasks

Qualifications

  • Familiar with preparing statutory accounts
  • Basic knowledge of corporation tax
  • Some audit experience would be preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrate good IT Skills such as Excel and other Microsoft office applications
  • Confident with accounting software, preferably CCH
  • Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed
  • Good communicator and a team player
  • Professional and organised
