Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor/Team Leader to work in Rosyth + Homebased on a full time permanent basis. The role will be split between remote case management 2 days/week and leading the OH team onsite 3 days/week.
Responsibilities
- Assessing clients’ fitness to work and managing referrals, both in person and remotely.
- Providing professional leadership to Occupational Health Technicians, nurses, and the wider Occupational Health team, including clinical auditing and quality assurance.
- Supporting and mentoring the team, ensuring appropriate training and professional development opportunities are in place.
- Leading the delivery of health surveillance programmes and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Conducting drug and alcohol testing, medical assessments, and consultations as required.
- Writing reports and letters to GPs and specialists, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act.
- Developing and implementing health promotion initiatives in collaboration with the broader Occupational Health team.
- Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring compliance with departmental protocols.
- Collaborating with client managers and external professionals to build effective working relationships and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Managing resources, equipment, and staffing requirements in partnership with the Clinical Operations Manager.
Requirements
- An experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisor with a qualification in Occupational Health.
- Strong case management and leadership/management experience.
