Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Yeovil + Travel on a full time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you’ll be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.
Role responsibilities:
- Driving a mobile medical unit (MMU)
- Health Surveillance to include: Audiometry, Spirometry, Height, Weight, BMI, Blood Pressure, Urinalysis, Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Be flexible to travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays
- Be able to park the unit at or near your home address
- Full view of diary 6 weeks in advance
- For every night away £30 subsistence - paid weekly
- Access to Premier Inn account for ease of booking
- Issue of a fuel card
Application requirements:
- To apply you will need to be an experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills or someone with a sports science degree with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician or Army Medic who has experience performing baseline measurements.
- Great opportunity for graduates with a degree in sports science who are seeking their first role in a healthcare setting, providing you have experience in performing baseline measurements.
Licensing and vehicle:
- You will need a manual UK driving licence and will be asked to provide a licence share code generated through the official government website.
- You will need to drive your own vehicle whilst the van is being prepared.
