Overview

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work in Birmingham, West Midlands + Homebased on a permanent basis 3-5 days/week. You will be required to travel to sites within your working hours up to 2 hours, with the expectation of travelling to one location per day at least 2 or 3 days/week with remaining days working homebased.

Responsibilities

  • In depth capability assessments
  • Advise on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics, rehabilitation programmes for employees with complex health problems or disabilities
  • Evidence based report writing
  • Workstation Assessments
  • Workplace Assessments
  • You will be dealing with cases involving physical, cognitive, mental health, learning difficulties or neurodiverse conditions and often with a combination or multiple conditions
  • Phone assessments to understand employees clinical history, present issues and working environment
  • Face to face assessments in a clinic or employee workplace to assess functional capability

Requirements

To apply you will need to be a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist with strong previous experience doing capability assessments, workplace assessments and workstation assessments. You will need to have knowledge of clinical governance and risk management.

Salary: up to £44,000 + Benefits dependant on experience plus mileage
