Occupational Health Staffing is recruiting an Occupational Health Technician for a full‑time permanent role based in the South East, with regional and occasional nationwide travel. The role includes driving a mobile medical unit (MMU) across sites such as Crawley, Epson, Sutton, Croydon, Epsom, Tonbridge, and East Grinstead.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a mobile medical unit (MMU) to client sites.
- Conduct health surveillance assessments including audiometry, spirometry, height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, urinalysis, and drug & alcohol testing.
- Arrange and manage overnight stays, with £30 subsistence paid weekly and access to a Premier Inn booking account.
- Park the unit at or near a home address and maintain a fully up‑to‑date diary with 6‑week visibility.
- Use a fuel card during travel.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills, or Sports science graduate with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician, or Army Medic, who has performed baseline measurements.
- Manual UK driving licence, willing to provide a licence share code from the official government website.
- Ability to drive own vehicle while the van is being prepared.
