Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Cambridge + Travel on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to undertake regional travel with occasional nationwide travel. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you will be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.
Responsibilities
- Drive a mobile medical unit (MMU).
- Health surveillance to include:
- Audiometry
- Spirometry
- Height
- Weight
- BMI
- Blood Pressure
- Urinalysis
- Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays.
- Park the unit at or near your home address.
- Maintain full view of diary 6 weeks in advance.
- Receive £30 subsistence per night, paid weekly.
- Access Premier Inn account for booking.
- Receive a fuel card.
- Drive your own vehicle whilst the van is being prepared.
Qualifications
- Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills.
- OR a sports science degree holder with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician or Army Medic who has performed baseline measurements.
- Graduates with a degree in sports science seeking their first role in a healthcare setting with baseline measurement experience.
- Hold a manual UK driving licence and be able to provide a licence share code via the official government website.
- Will drive own vehicle while van is being prepared.
