Occupational Health Staffing is recruiting an Occupational Health Ergonomist for a 2‑year fixed‑term contract, based in Solihull with travel to other sites in the West Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Undertake ergonomics assessments in physical workplaces or using relevant software.
- Report findings to customers and deliver assessment reports within agreed timeframes.
- Support internal customer groups—including Product Engineering (PE), Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Plant Launch and Current Manufacturing—to ensure compliance with the Production Ergonomics procedure, company standards, and local legislation.
- Conduct ergonomics assessment audits and deliver follow‑ups as per agreed requirements.
Work Hours
07.30am – 16.30pm Monday – Thursday and 07.30am – 13.00pm Friday.
Qualifications
- Ergonomist with a qualification in Ergonomics.
- Working towards or considering becoming a member of a relevant institute, e.g., Chartered/registered status with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF).
