Occupational Health Technician
Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Milton Keynes + Travel on a full‑time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you’ll be given a 3‑week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.
Responsibilities
- Drive a mobile medical unit (MMU)
- Perform health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry, height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, urinalysis, drug and alcohol testing
- Travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays
- Park the unit at or near your home address
- Maintain a full view of the diary 6 weeks in advance
- Claim £30 subsistence per night away, paid weekly
- Access Premier Inn account for bookings
- Use issued fuel card
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills, or a sports science degree with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician, or Army Medic who has performed baseline measurements
- Graduates with a sports science degree and experience in baseline measurements
- Manual UK driving licence
- Provide a licence share code generated through the official government website
- Drive your own vehicle while the van is being prepared
