Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Leeds + Travel on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to undertake regional travel with occasional nationwide travel. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you’ll be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a mobile medical unit (MMU)
  • Perform health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, urinalysis, and drug & alcohol testing
  • Be flexible to travel to client sites and comfortable with overnight stays
  • Park the unit at or near your home address and keep a full view of the diary 6 weeks in advance
  • Receive £30 subsistence per night away, paid weekly
  • Access a Premier Inn account for easy booking and receive a fuel card

Qualifications

  • Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills
  • Or a sports science graduate with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician, or Army Medic, capable of performing baseline measurements
  • Manual UK driving licence and willingness to provide a licence share code via the government website
  • Ability to drive your own vehicle until the van is prepared
