Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Emergency Treatment Nurse to work in Bridgwater, Somerset on a permanent basis – 3-5 days/week. The site operates 24/7; therefore, candidates will be required to work shifts including days and nights. The role will involve:
- Working at a busy medical/urgent care unit at Hinckley Point C
- Providing emergency response coverage for trauma/medical emergencies on site
- Offering walk-in treatment for injuries and illnesses
- Conducting drug and alcohol testing
- Performing cannulation when required
- Administering immunisations
- Measuring baseline health parameters
- Carrying out fitness-for-work assessments
- Providing minor injuries care
To apply, you must be an NMC-registered Practitioner with previous Emergency Nurse Practitioner experience. You should have prior A&E, Acute, or Primary Care experience, hold an immediate or advanced life support qualification, and possess a full UK manual driving licence.
