Occupational Health Staffing is recruiting an Occupational Health Technician/Trainee to work in Bridgwater, Somerset on a full‑time permanent basis.
Overview
The role involves working a mixture of day and night shifts. Applicants should have experience or a sports science degree with baseline measurement experience.
Responsibilities
- Health screening including height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis, audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, drug & alcohol (chain of custody)
- Assisting with PTS medicals and health promotions
- Performing baseline measurements as required
Hours
- Day shift: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
- Late shift: Monday – Thursday, 16:00 – 00:00
- Night shift: Monday – Thursday, 20:00 – 06:00 (next day)
Qualifications
- Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills
- Or a sports science graduate with experience as a healthcare support worker, emergency care assistant/technician, ambulance assistant/technician or army medic
- Experience performing baseline measurements
