Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work in Bournemouth, Dorset + Homebased on a permanent basis 3-5 days/week. You will be required to travel to sites within your working hours up to 2 hours, with the expectation of travelling to one location per day at least 2 or 3 days/week with remaining days working home-based.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to sites within your working hours up to 2 hours, with expectation of travelling to one location per day at least 2 or 3 days/week, remaining days working home-based.
- Conduct in-depth capability assessments.
- Advise on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics and rehabilitation programmes for employees with complex health problems or disabilities.
- Produce evidence-based report writing.
- Perform workstation assessments.
- Conduct workplace assessments.
- Deal with cases involving physical, cognitive, mental health, learning difficulties or neurodiverse conditions, often with a combination or multiple conditions.
- Carry out phone assessments to understand employees’ clinical history, present issues and working environment.
- Conduct face-to-face assessments in a clinic or employee workplace to assess functional capability.
Qualifications:
- Qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist.
- Strong previous experience doing capability assessments, workplace assessments and workstation assessments.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management.
