About OccaStore: OccaStore is a Warrington-based sports nutrition, wellness and active lifestyle distributor. We support brands and retail partners across wholesale, marketplace trading, e-commerce fulfilment and operational distribution. The business works with a broad mix of customers and routes to market, including gyms, retailers, convenience, marketplaces, export customers and online channels. Accuracy, speed and stock discipline are important because the warehouse supports a wide range of orders, from single-item online orders through to larger trade and wholesale requirements.

As the business grows, the warehouse operation needs people who care about getting the basics right: accurate picking, clear stock locations, clean processes, safe working and orders leaving on time.

Purpose of Role: The Warehouse Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation, with a focus on accurate order processing, picking, packing, stock control, replenishment and use of warehouse management systems. This is a hands-on warehouse role. The role holder will be expected to work at pace, follow processes carefully, maintain accurate stock locations and support the Operations Director with routine operational tasks. The role is important because warehouse accuracy directly affects customer orders, marketplace performance, trade orders, stock visibility and the overall efficiency of the business. The successful candidate must be comfortable with physical work and must take pride in completing warehouse tasks properly.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Picking, packing and processing orders accurately and on time across wholesale, marketplace and e-commerce channels.
  • Using Linnworks and other warehouse management systems to manage orders, stock movements, picking activity and warehouse tasks.
  • Checking item details, quantities, barcodes and order requirements before dispatch to reduce avoidable errors.
  • Keeping stock locations tidy, organised and accurate so the team can find and process stock quickly.
  • Supporting regular stock checks, cycle counts, stock investigations and location corrections.
  • Replenishing pick locations and putting stock away correctly after inbound deliveries or stock movements.
  • Handling and organising stock safely and efficiently, including sports nutrition products, drinks, bars, accessories and other active lifestyle lines.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment, including keeping walkways, pick faces and packing areas clear.
  • Following warehouse processes carefully to reduce errors, delays, stock discrepancies and missed dispatches.
  • Supporting inbound deliveries, pallet checks, stock put-away and warehouse housekeeping.
  • Working at pace during busy trading periods while maintaining accuracy and safe working standards.
  • Taking direction from the Operations Director, raising issues promptly and communicating clearly when something does not look right.
  • Supporting occasional cover at the Shropshire warehouse when required by the business.
  • Carrying out any other warehouse or operational tasks required to meet business needs.
