We’re working with a leading renewable energy contractor expanding its UK operations, seeking an Intermediate Solar Project Manager to join their high-performing team. You’ll manage the delivery of commercial & utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK – from pre-construction through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple solar PV projects.
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring delivery on time and to budget.
- Liaise with DNOs, consultants, and internal design teams to ensure technical compliance.
- Maintain strict HSEQ standards throughout project lifecycle.
- Report on project progress, risk, and cost to senior management.
- Support contract negotiations and procurement activities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience in project management within the solar or wider renewable energy sector.
- Solid understanding of UK solar project lifecycle – ideally from construction or EPC background.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ practices and CDM regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
