Electrical Chargehand We have exciting opportunities for Electrical Chargehand to join my client. This position is for their EP&R sector covering projects nationwide in the UK. My client is a leading international provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions. Core sectors include Energy, Power and Renewables, Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Data Centres. They provide best in class contracting solutions with in-house, flexible resources capable of delivering a personable and consistent service to customers. They are currently expanding significantly, and are delivering large scale projects across the U.K, Ireland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. What you will being doing β€’ Lead a team ensuring required tasks are completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. β€’ Assume a leadership role on site and maintain standards of safety and comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental Management System requirements. β€’ Design an essential daily plan of action/works. Assist in designing a two-week look ahead for your team. β€’ Confirm all material needed for works is available to all operatives. β€’ Complete and submit daily allocation sheets. β€’ Complete and submit weekly progress reports. β€’ Work to the Project Programme and monitor and record productivity/efficiency (SE). β€’ Work with field Engineers to perform functional tests. Is this the job for me? β€’ Full Electrical Craft (installation) NVQ Level 3 or equivalent essential β€’ 18th Edition Wiring and Inspection Testing/Initial Verification essential β€’ Suitable Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a contracting environment. β€’ CSCS Card β€’ Full clean driving license. β€’ Strong safety focus. β€’ Excellent communication and leadership skills. β€’ Proven capability in decision making. β€’ Flexible, committed and work well under pressure
