U-Drive are looking for a friendly and customer-focused driver/valeter for the Manchester branch. A full UK driving license is required and the role involves confidently operating a range of vehicles.
As a Driver/Valeter at U-Drive, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our Manchester branch, working a 45-hour week from Monday to Friday. This position combines driving responsibilities with vehicle valeting to ensure our rental vehicles are well-maintained and customer ready. Whether delivering vehicles to branches or directly to customers, attention to detail and a commitment to customer service are paramount.
Responsibilities:- Drive, deliver, and/or collect vehicles as directed
- Clean and valet vehicles to U-Drive standards
- Conduct end-of-hire vehicle checks for damage
- Complete drivers' logs and branch sign-in/out
- Perform Pre-Rental and Post-Rental Vehicle Inspections, reporting faults and damage
- Park vehicles in designated areas
- Assist customers by showcasing vehicles and explaining controls
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Positive can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills for excellent customer service
- Team player with honesty and trustworthiness
- Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Prompt and courteous response to queries
- 30 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing with length of service
