We are a warm, professional English/Australian family in Notting Hill seeking a dedicated live-in nanny/housekeeper to help care for our 11-month-old son, Charlie, and manage the smooth running of our home. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, nurturing, and take genuine pride in maintaining a clean, calm, and happy household. She must have a genuine love for children, be playful and engaged when with our Charlie. This is a long-term position.

Additional info: Mum does not work and is home most days. They have a small dog, Bertie, who is a member of the family. The whole family is vegetarian and basic food preparation is required. Candidate must be able to travel abroad with the family. The next family holiday is skiing for a week in France over New Year. The house is over 6 levels so the candidate must be ok with a lot of stairs!

  • Childcare responsibilities:
  • Making nutritious meals
  • Playing with Charlie
  • Taking Charlie for walks
  • Keeping formula maker clean and filled
  • Washing milk bottles
  • Taking Charlie to baby classes and kids clubs
  • Changing nappies, bathing, clipping Charlie's nails etc.

The family have a cleaner once a week but the candidate will be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and tidying of the house. They also have a dog walker.

  • Housekeeping duties:
  • Daily bed making
  • Hoovering
  • Tidying
  • Emptying dishwasher
  • Keeping kitchen clean and tidy
  • Taking out rubbish

Qualifications: Experience as both a nanny and a housekeeper.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM plus 2 evenings of babysitting a week (most often Friday and Saturday).

Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom, separate entrance.

Start: End of November / beginning December.
