It’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience. While others might call you delivery drivers, here at Ocado Logistics our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top-quality products on time and efficiently.
You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you will never have to fight over the radio station and can sing as loud as you like! We use automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van.
Working patterns involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays; on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that increase your average hourly earnings to £13.95 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime.
All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid.

What we need from you: You don’t need previous experience, just bring yourself and a positive attitude. Our training team will do the rest.
Driving Licence Requirements:
- Full UK or EU driving licence
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
Some deliveries involve alcohol, so you must be over 18. Good communication skills are essential for this customer-facing role.

Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
Contracted Days: Any 4 days out of 7 working 10‑hour shifts
Shifts: AM & PM. Start as early as 05:30, finish as late as 24:00 (midnight). Shift rota released up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure: Lunar paid – paid every four weeks on a monthly schedule.
Hourly Pay Rates:
- Monday to Saturday (basic rate) £13.44
- Evening premium (from 18:00) £1.12
- Sunday day premium £1.34
- Sunday evening premium £2.58
- Overtime rate (day shift) £16.80
- Overtime rate (evening shift) £18.20
