Our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you can enjoy your music on the radio while we use automated technology to pre plan routes and pre-load your van.
Working patterns include evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. In addition to base pay, you will receive premiums that increase your average hourly earnings to £12.70 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime. All breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. Details of shifts are provided at the bottom of this advert.

Responsibilities
• Deliver quality products on time and in an efficient manner to customers as part of the Ocado Logistics Customer Service Team. • Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner while on the road and at delivery points. • Use automated technology to pre-plan routes and pre-load vans. • Work within shifts that may include evenings and weekends, with pay premiums applied as described. • Adhere to safety and company policies while driving and delivering goods.
What we need from you
You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team; bring yourself and a positive attitude and our training team will provide the rest. You will need the following:
- Driving Licence Requirements: Full UK or EU driving licence.
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
- Some deliveries involve handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
- Good communication skills as this is a customer-facing role.

Contract details
Contract type: Permanent. Contracted workweek: 40 hours, scheduled as either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days within a seven-day period. Shifts: AM & PM. Start times can be as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay structure: Lunar pay (paid every 4 weeks). Hourly pay rates: Basic £12.26; Evening Premium £1.12; Sunday Day Premium £1.23; Sunday Evening Premium £2.46. Overtime: £15.33 (Day) / £16.73 (Evening) per hour, Monday to Saturday.
