Overview
In this role you support Ocado’s sponsor licence and Right to Work obligations by owning local employer checks, compliance activities, and SMS administration. You work closely with the Bulgaria SSC to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate UK-specific processing. You will help maintain efficient, high-quality candidate experiences while upholding strict compliance. The position offers cross-functional collaboration across Compliance, HR, and Shared Services in a UK-based setting with a clear impact on regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities
- Execute Right to Work checks across online, video, and manual channels
- Resolve complex document issues and ECS requests, including Day 1/visa expiry cases
- Review manual checks and escalate evidence gaps with People Partners
- Administer CoS within the Sponsorship Management System (SMS)
- Manage Home Office reporting for sponsor licence compliance (changes, delays, terminations)
- Monitor CoS allocation limits and support sponsorship extensions
- Process UK-controlled CoS payments via Worldpay/PAID and keep audit-ready records
- Coordinate with Bulgaria SSC for case handoffs and UK-specific compliance
- Maintain and improve joint UK-Bulgaria operational workflows
- Support internal and external audits with accurate compliance documentation
Key requirements
- Previous experience of UK Right to Work processes
- Knowledge of Skilled Worker sponsorship and Certificates of Sponsorship
- Strong attention to detail with compliance-sensitive workflows
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet fixed deadlines
- Confident handling of personal and confidential information
- Strong organisation and case-management skills
- Ability to identify non-standard cases and escalate appropriately
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working across multiple systems and maintaining records
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote SSC
