About the Role
As an Engineering Technician, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our state-of-the-art, automated Fulfilment Centre in Welwyn Garden City. You\’ll be the first line of response for engineering faults, working quickly and effectively to diagnose and resolve issues that could impact performance. Alongside reactive maintenance, you’ll carry out planned servicing and repairs to keep our equipment in top condition, while also getting involved in proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency. This is a hands-on role where you\’ll work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
You will work a shift pattern to support our operation, consisting of shifts across a variety of early and late shifts
About you

- Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and ideally control systems, with a formal engineering qualification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical approach.

- Comfortable working at height using access equipment, in line with site safety standards.
