About the team and the role
The Digital Marketing team is responsible for new customer acquisition across all channels. The Senior Performance Marketing Executive will develop and execute new customer acquisition campaigns across Paid Social and support our Affiliates programme. This role requires digital marketing expertise, experience with performance campaigns across social media and affiliate channels, management of multi-million pound budgets, and a proactive attitude.
The role involves supporting the Paid Social Manager to execute and optimise campaigns primarily on Meta, TikTok, Influencers, Pinterest, etc., to acquire new customers at scale. It requires close collaboration with internal and external creative, media, and publisher partners to align campaigns with strategic goals of driving acquisition, ROAS, and LTV.
Additionally, the role supports the Affiliate Manager in setting up and executing affiliate and influencer campaigns that drive KPIs, coordinating teams internally to ensure successful campaigns and proper attribution of channel performance.
What you’ll do
- Campaign management & execution: plan, implement, and optimise digital campaigns with agency and media partners.
- Understand Ocado customer segments and develop audience targeting strategies.
- Manage creative assets and support ad-doc tasks like raising POs and invoicing.
- Monitor and optimise Paid Social campaigns to improve KPIs such as acquisition volume and CPA.
- Support relationships with third-party affiliate networks and paid social agencies.
- Analyse campaign performance, generate reports, and develop testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to optimise traffic and revenue from Affiliate & Influencer channels.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, brand guidelines, and advertising regulations.
The majority of your time (80%) will be spent on Paid Social, with 20% supporting Affiliate activities.
Who you are
- Experience managing and optimising significant budgets across Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, etc.) and Affiliate Marketing.
- Knowledge of Affiliate programs, including partner recruitment, negotiation, and compliance.
- Understanding of trading KPIs: CPA, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CPM, conversion rate, margin.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with Econometrics models or MMM is a plus.
- Influencer marketing experience is preferred.
- Qualities: strategic, results-oriented, adaptable, curious, accountable.
