About us

Our mission is to deliver joy in every shop, through unbeatable choice, unrivalled service, and reassuringly good value. We’re Ocado Retail, a market-leading joint venture between Ocado Group and M&S, and the world’s largest dedicated online supermarket.

About the team and the role

As the Operations Associate at Ocado Ads, you will be the engine room of our media business. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our sophisticated data products and our clients. You will take full ownership of the operational lifecycle for Beet (our insight platform), as well as our Onsite and Offsite media propositions. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a mix of project management, technical platform administration, and stakeholder enablement.

What you’ll do

  • Platform Setup & Technical Operations: Lead the end-to-end technical setup for Off-site campaigns across social media platforms and data partners. Own the setup and training of the Ocado Ads Manager and provide operational support for retail media ad vendor integrations. Manage the onboarding and system setup for all new users across Beet, Onsite, and Offsite tools. Oversee the ongoing management of live campaigns to ensure technical delivery aligns with project specs.
  • Training & Stakeholder Enablement: Design and run Insight training sessions for Beet, catering to both internal Ocado teams and external brand clients. Act as the subject matter expert for Ocado Ads Manager, providing hands-on training to ensure users are self-sufficient. Project manager, create and update "how-to" documentation and FAQs to support platform adoption and best practices.
  • Support & Issue Resolution: Manage the Beet Helpdesk, acting as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, bug reporting, and general platform inquiries. Work closely with the Propositions Lead to escalate technical hurdles and provide feedback on platform usability. Provide day-to-day operational assistance to the wider media team to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Project Management & Finance: Own the monthly billing cycle across Ocado Ads solutions, ensuring all Beet subscriptions, Onsite media, and Offsite campaigns are accurately invoiced. Maintain the master project roadmap for Offsite media, ensuring all milestones—from data partner syncs to creative go-live—are met. Continuously look for ways to streamline workflows to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy.

Who you are

  • Experience & Skills: Operational Mindset: You enjoy building processes and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Technical Savvy: Experience with ad-tech platforms (e.g., CitrusAd, Epsilon, Facebook Ads Manager) or SaaS insight tools is a significant plus. Communication: Confident in presenting and running training sessions for diverse audiences. Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in data entry, platform setup, and financial invoicing. Problem Solver: You are proactive in identifying bottlenecks and finding ways to streamline workflows.

Requirements:

  • Around 2 years of experience in media operations, ad-tech, or a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong proficiency in the Google suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
