Here at Ocado Logistics our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders on time and in an efficient manner as part of the Customer Service Team.
- Use automated technology to pre-plan routes and pre-load vans.
- Work shifts that include evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays; earn premiums to increase average hourly earnings.
- Take paid breaks; every minute at work is paid.
- Participate in site tours and question-and-answer sessions as part of the interview process.
- Operate in a customer-facing role with good communication skills.
- Adhere to safe working practices and participate in required checks (Licence Check, Right to Work, DBS where applicable).
What We Need From You
- No prior experience required for joining the team; a positive attitude and our training team will provide the rest.
- Driving Licence Requirements
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
- Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply.
- As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential.

- We will run a Disclosure Barring System (DBS) check.
- Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role.
Contract and Pay
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Contract: 40 hours per week, scheduled as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days within a seven-day period.
- Shifts: AM & PM; start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Check commute and transport options before applying.
- You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
- Pay Structure: lunar pay cycle — paid every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule.
- Hourly Pay Rates (examples):
- Basic: £13.28
- Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
- Sunday Day Premium: £1.33
- Sunday Evening Premium: £2.56
- Overtime (Mon–Sat): Day £16.60; Evening £18.00
