It’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience. Our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner.

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like. In return, we use our automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van! Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of your base pay, you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.75 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions. All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver top quality products on time and in an efficient manner as part of the Customer Service Team.
  • Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner in customer interactions.
  • Follow route planning and van loading processes to optimise delivery efficiency.
  • Maintain safety, accuracy and quality standards during deliveries and handovers.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Full UK or EU driving licence.
  • Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
  • Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply.
  • As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential.
How to Apply

You will be invited to tour the site, meet the team, and participate in a light interview session. A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check will be completed. Once checks are completed, you will be offered the role and begin your career with Ocado Logistics.

Contract & Pay
  • Contract Type: Permanent.
  • Contracted workweek is 40 hours, scheduled as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days within a seven-day period.
  • Shifts: AM & PM. Start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 00:00 (midnight). Check commute time and transport options before applying.
  • You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
  • Pay Structure: Lunar pay (paid every 4 weeks). This should be considered when applying.
  • Hourly Pay Rates: Basic rate £13.28; Evening Premium from 6pm £1.12; Sunday Day Premium £1.33; Sunday Evening Premium £2.56; Overtime (Mon-Sat Day) £16.60; Overtime (Mon-Sat Evening) £18.00.
