About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join on a Hybrid basis our growing Logistics Technology team. As part of a brand‑new support function, you will be the technical core of our infrastructure modernisation. You will champion 2nd and 3rd level support for our new implementations of Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management, directly improving services that support over 15,000 employees nationwide.

You Will Be:

  • Utilising your expertise to support and maintain key performance metrics for our Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management systems.
  • Collaborating directly with Payroll and HR teams to troubleshoot and refine end‑to‑end processing, from UKG time‑entry to final BACS generation.
  • Executing configuration and code changes with a holistic view of our business processes and system architecture.
  • Continuously improving our support framework through automation, self‑service capabilities, and packaging routine tasks for 1st‑level teams.
  • Managing vendor relationships, driving the escalation process, and assisting in the technical design of new customer requirements.

About You
You bring in‑depth experience supporting Oracle HCM implementations (including incident, problem, and root‑cause analysis) alongside a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Payroll and UKG systems. You can confidently provide expert guidance on Oracle Payroll best practices, compliance, and statutory requirements. You possess exemplary customer service skills and are comfortable presenting to and collaborating with senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. You are self‑motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and can operate independently to make progress even when navigating project ambiguity. You are eager to shape a brand‑new function, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
