We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Individual Rights Specialist to join our People Services team at Ocado Logistics on a full-time permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with a background in compliance, governance, legal administration, or HR operations who enjoys working with processes, handling sensitive information, and ensuring things are done the right way. If you take pride in accuracy, understand the importance of data privacy and compliance, and enjoy solving queries in a structured environment, this could be a great next step in your career.
As a Compliance Administrator in our People Services team, you’ll act as a subject matter expert for employee rights and statutory requests across our workforce of over 16,000 colleagues. You’ll manage sensitive requests from start to finish, ensuring every case is handled accurately, securely, and in line with legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with teams across People, Legal and IT to make sure our processes are compliant, efficient, and consistently delivered. This is a role where attention to detail, sound judgement, and strong organizational skills really matter. No two days are ever the same — you can expect variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing individual rights and statutory requests, including data subject access requests (DSARs), Police DP Requests and other Individual Rights Requests
- Ensuring all requests are completed accurately and within agreed timelines
- Maintaining clear documentation, templates, and audit trails for all cases
- Working with stakeholders across People, Legal, and IT to ensure consistent and compliant processes
- Identifying process improvements and helping to streamline workflows
- Supporting audits and ensuring all activity aligns with GDPR and internal policies
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a compliance, governance, legal administration, HR operations, or regulated administrative environment
- Has worked with sensitive data and understands the importance of confidentiality and accuracy
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
- Is comfortable interpreting policies or regulations and applying them in day-to-day work
- Is organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple cases at once
- Is confident working with stakeholders and building trusted relationships
- Is proactive, curious, and enjoys improving processes
Experience with GDPR, DSARs, audits, or compliance processes would be highly beneficial — but we’re also open to candidates with transferable experience from compliance-heavy administrative roles.
This is your chance to join a People Services team that plays a critical role in protecting employee data, ensuring compliance, and supporting the colleague experience across our business. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team where your expertise and attention to detail make a real difference every day.
Next steps: If you're excited by the opportunity to work in a role that combines compliance, accuracy, and problem-solving — and you enjoy handling sensitive information with care and professionalism — we’d love to hear from you. Even if you don’t tick every box but have experience in a compliance or governance-focused administrative role and a great attitude, please apply.
