Join Ocado Logistics as a Warehouse Operative and become the heart of our delivery team, ensuring every one of our 215,000 orders per week arrives correct and on time.
Key responsibilities:
- Load and organise shipping totes
- Pick and pack individual customer orders
- Receive and quality-check inbound goods
- Work in ambient, chilled (0-5 °C) and freezer (-25 °C) conditions
- Operate within a 24-hour warehouse
- Support other teams as needed
Working hours:
- Daytime pickers/freezers: 04:30 – 14:30 – 4 days
- Night pickers/freezers: 18:35 – 04:35 – 4 nights
- Daytime despatch: 06:00 – 16:00 – 4 days
- Night despatch: 20:05 – 06:05 – 4 nights
- Daytime inbound: 08:00 – 19:00 – 4 days
- Night inbound: 19:00 – 06:00 – 4 nights
Pay & perks:
- Starting rate: £12.36 per hour
- Night-shift premium (00:00-06:00): £2.67 per hour
- Freezer premium: £0.90 per hour
- Overtime: 1.25× basic rate
- On-site restaurant, free parking, flexible rostering (6–13-week notice)
