About the role:

As a HR Data Analyst at Ocado you’ll be delivering insights across the business relating to our people, focusing on topics such as recruiting, attrition, internal movement and survey analysis.

You\’ll collaborate with our Center of Excellence (CoE) teams to craft people analytics strategies, honing in on areas like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent, and Engagement. Role and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and build of self service dashboard tools for the wider business to use, as well as leading the UX on how people interact with our data alongside other self service people data tools such as Workday and Peakon.
  • Understanding and accurately translating data from our People Data Warehouse for the rest of the business, providing insight over the data, as well as contributing to planning what additional people data to build into our warehouse.
  • Building capabilities across our People team partners around data storytelling and utilising people insights through the tools that we build and beyond.
  • When required, working with CoE teams to build people analytics plans, identifying the key value add analytics projects within CoE areas such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent, Engagement & more.
  • When required, designing and running People Analytics projects with both people team and business wide stakeholders across a range of people topics such as recruitment, internal movement and career pathing, attrition & retention, engagement research.
  • Working with other analysts to grow analytical capabilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience designing scalable data and visualisation solutions (Google BigQuery, Looker a plus, but Microsoft/Tableau etc. also good)
  • Some experience working in People Analytics, Data Science, BI, social research, organisational health or a transferable field of analytics
  • Experience with workforce data, social research or people metrics, and an initial understanding of people practices and processes
  • Success applying analytical and presentation skills to real world problems with a focus on solutions and impact
  • The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Proven capability to partner well with other HR functions
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and emphasis on data integrity & privacy
