We are looking for problem-solvers, data storytellers, and strategic thinkers who want to shape the next era of logistics. You'll generate business recommendations using data to identify opportunities to improve performance of core business processes. Delivering analysis to key stakeholders to influence and support decision making and collaborate with teams across the business to implement changes based on data-driven insight.

Where you could be joining:

  • Routing & Delivery Optimisation: Improve how we design delivery routes, plan capacity, and match resources to demand.
  • Network Planning & Scenario Modelling: Support strategic planning for the next 3–18 months, balancing people, vehicles, and assets to deliver operational efficiency.
  • Labour Planning Transformation: Help rebuild forecasting and scheduling for a more flexible network and better work-life balance.
  • Data, Tooling & Reporting Development: Build a best-in-class analytics stack to power decision-making across Logistics.
  • Fulfilment Optimization: Analysing and optimizing the way we pick and distribute our products from our robotic warehouses to being loaded on the vans ready for delivery, including LGV movements between sites.
  • Central Analytics: Providing the expertise to develop trusted data models, data products and applications/visualisations for users in all functions in our business (e.g. delivery operations, fulfilment operations, planning, finance, people, health & safety etc).

Across all these areas, you’ll identify performance drivers, uncover root causes of inefficiency, and deliver insights that enable proactive, data-driven improvements across operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive efficiency and optimisation in supply chain and logistics using advanced analytics.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through insight-driven analysis.
  • Work closely with data engineers and cross-functional teams to build and evolve a common data model for your domain.
  • Develop and implement strategies across inventory, procurement, distribution, and operations.
  • Design intuitive dashboards and reports to translate complex data into actionable insight for stakeholders.
  • Lead key data and analytics projects, mentor and support more junior members of the team.
  • Identification of improvements in core business processes to deliver on our KPIs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and techniques to keep Ocado at the forefront of innovation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience as an Analyst in a big data or complex operational environment.
  • Expertise in SQL and familiarity with Excel, VBA, Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to dbt or modern data transformation frameworks highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to solve quantitative and qualitative problems with creativity and rigour.
  • Excellent communication skills—you can turn complex data into compelling stories that influence decision-making.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
