We are now looking for a Senior Jira Administrator to join us and contribute to building high-quality, end-to-end solutions that create real business impact. You will drive the architectural transformation of software delivery lifecycles. Beyond tool administration, you will contribute to delivering end-to-end ALM and ITSM solutions across diverse industries. You will work on high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, model, and automate complex business processes within the Atlassian ecosystem, ensuring scalable and high-quality infrastructures that solve real-world operational challenges.
Main Responsibilities- Analyze customer requirements to design and implement end-to-end process workflows on Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
- Design and develop complex business rules, listeners, post-functions, and validators using ScriptRunner and Jira Automation.
- Execute configuration, customization, and optimization tasks across both Jira Cloud and Data Center environments.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical or operational issues during critical phases such as go-live, migrations, and production errors.
- Transform standard SDLC and ITSM frameworks into functional and scalable models within the Atlassian ecosystem.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation for all implemented solutions on Confluence.
- Advanced knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (both Cloud and Data Center architectures).
- Hands-on experience with ScriptRunner (Cloud/DC) and proficiency in developing custom logic via Groovy.
- Strong understanding of REST API concepts and experience in system integrations.
- Awareness of system limitations, app compatibilities, and the performance impact of custom fields and automation rules.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous or complex business requirements into clear, sustainable, and technical configuration plans.
- General knowledge of the Atlassian plugin ecosystem and Atlassian SDK for troubleshooting or minor enhancements.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs, ensuring effective communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to distinguishing between "quick fixes" and "permanent solutions" while working under pressure.
