Mercor is hiring experienced private equity associates to build a financial model from a synthetic deal document pack, then peer-review models built by two other contractors on the same transaction.
What you'll do
- Build a working financial model of an assigned infrastructure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack
- Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions
- Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, with a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard
Requirements
- 2–4 years total experience: ~2 years investment banking (infrastructure, power & utilities, or real estate / TMT M&A) followed by 1–2 years in infrastructure private equity
- Currently or recently an Associate at an infrastructure-focused PE fund, or the infrastructure arm of a multi-strategy manager
- Exposure to digital infrastructure — data centres, fibre, or towers
- Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template
- Fluent English
