Based in Salisbury, my client has an exciting opportunity for a well-presented, friendly, and trustworthy Retail Sales Advisor to work in their Salisbury showroom. Working as part of the retail team, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

You will be responsible for providing knowledgeable help, advice, and actively selling an extensive portfolio of tiles to trade and retail customers, while maintaining a professional, personalised, and friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Have a flair for design and colour, being creative, imaginative, and energetic

  • Computer literate, MS Office
  • Good team player and able to work unsupervised

Your duties will include:

  • Meeting, greeting, and engaging with customers in a confident and proactive way
  • Completing sales efficiently, handling money and credit card transactions accurately
  • Using initiative to upsell where appropriate
  • Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment policies, and security practices
  • Recommending, selecting, and helping locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs
  • Describing the range of products and explaining their use, operation, and care
  • Updating store displays and assisting with the unloading and organising of deliveries
  • Assisting with the loading, transporting, and delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintaining an organised, efficient sample room and warehouse
  • Ensuring all products and orders are accurately labelled
