Assistant Showroom Manager - Based Cardiff
Basic salary £29,000 plus quarterly commission
Benefits package - 31 days holidays (increasing with service), pension, healthcare, discount on all products, personal development and training, and career progression.
Candidate must hold a full UK licence. Candidates must be able to work as part of a rota, 5 days over a 7-day period.
Responsibilities
- Help oversee daily showroom operations and support the Retail Team, with experience in interior design, luxury home goods, or related industry sectors.
- Generate sales from both retail and trade customers, focusing on meeting sales goals and boosting profits.
- Manage stock and merchandise, train staff, and ensure compliance with the company's health and safety policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues professionally.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, maintain visual standards, and implement company policies and procedures.
- Identify, engage, and convert new customers, including investigating opportunities, building relationships, and guiding them through to order placement.
- Motivate and delegate to staff, maintain a customer-focused attitude, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ensure knowledge of health and safety regulations is applied.
- Be decisive, a problem solver, highly organised, numerate, and accurate.
- Utilise computer systems for showroom management and implement decisions as needed.
