Internal Sales Executive – Based Crawley Basic salary £28,000 to £35,000 plus annual profit share, 33 days holidays, pension and ongoing training and development. This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive who is looking to join a growing business who supply a range of products for the IT infrastructure market fibre optic and copper cabling solutions and associated related products for data centres. This role will ideally suit a Graduate Sales Commercial Trainee who can demonstrate some sales experience OR a candidate with experience of working as an Internal Technical Sales Executive. Candidates will ideally have either an HNC/HND or degree in a technical subject (e.g. electronic/electrical engineering computing or business or management studies. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be involved in sales, account management whilst dealing with existing customers, sourcing processing orders and cross selling/upselling to potential new clients or lapsed clients. You will work alongside a Regional Business Development Manager and receive comprehensive product training and ongoing development opportunities will be provided, allowing you to further advance your career. Candidate Skills * You will have proven experience of delivering profitable sales growth and developing existing customers and securing new ones, this desirable but not essential for Commercial Trainee Sales position so your experience may be limited. * Demonstrate a sales capability of selling technology solutions and business concepts to prospective clients across all levels. * Any technical expertise for LAN & DC networking products and related industry solutions (or have a genuine interest would be advantageous) * Proven capability of identifying decision makers within the target accounts and developing those relationships. * Any experience of customer strategic relationships management with key suppliers/vendors. * Able to develop existing key accounts/sales across a range of products of a quantifiable sales pipeline of opportunities. Duties * Ability to achieve gross profit objectives according to the targets set and build existing customer revenue and gross profit levels. * Develop long term partnerships with existing target customers, (end-users and Installers), by providing technical product / tailored solution proposals to position and its partners to win future business. * Proactively target lapsed and “historic” customers to generate new revenue and GP opportunities. * Proactively follow-up on marketing campaigns to generate new revenue and GP opportunities. * Respond to quotation requests rapidly, interpreting information and providing alternatives to demonstrate added value whenever possible. * Process customer orders, checking customer order paperwork for accuracy, completeness and compatibility and then manage and allocate stock orders when it arrives from suppliers. * Offer an outstanding customer service. * Track all open orders to ensure delivery promises are kept and sales forecasts are accurate, resolving any issues that arise. * Research potential prospects and leverage existing relationships to build and continually increase a quantifiable pipeline in line with company targets. * Proactively expand our customer database by obtaining/calling new customer contacts within existing customer accounts and new prospective customers
