A leading UK engineering company is looking to expand its field engineering team. The role involves delivering planned and reactive engineering solutions across a wide range of mechanical and electrical depot systems.
Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support maintenance activities across the Midlands, South and South-East regions.
Key Responsibilities- Service, repair, install and maintain depot plant equipment including:
- Production machinery
- Motors, gearboxes & three-phase equipment
- Electrical control systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work
- Diagnose and fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
- Complete accurate job reports and service documentation
- Work independently across multiple sites while representing the business professionally
- Support project-based installation work when required
Location: UK Wide (Typically Midlands & South)
Overnight stays typically 1–3 nights per week depending on project and location.
Salary / Overtime RatesUp to £45,000 + overtime opportunities paid door to door
- 1.5x – Weekdays and Saturdays
- 2x – Sundays
- £25 subsistence per night
