Position: Mechanical Assembly Technician/Fitter
Location: Warrington (WA1 area)
Working Pattern: 37 hours weekly, typically 06:00–15:30, Monday to Thursday
Pay Range: £16.66–£19.10 per hour depending on experience

In this role, you’ll be putting together mechanical assemblies, building and installing components, and working with systems that use hydraulics and pneumatics. You’ll play an important part in ensuring the final product meets performance and safety expectations.
Main Duties
- Build and fit mechanical components in line with engineering requirements
- Handle hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies
- Work confidently from technical drawings
- Maintain accuracy, safety, and quality across all tasks
- Contribute to meeting production schedules and targets
- Keep workspaces tidy and follow all safety procedures
- Use digital tools, including production management software
- Support other departments when needed
Who We’re Looking For
- Background in mechanical fitting, assembly work, or a related trade
- Experience working to defined cycle times in a production-line environment
- Skilled in hydraulic installation and general mechanical assembly
- Able to interpret engineering diagrams and technical information
- Strong eye for detail with a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable using computer-based production systems
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work well with others
- Capable of working in restricted spaces and lifting heavier components when required
- Any training or qualifications in hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical fitting is advantageous
