MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricators Salary: £16.50ph–£19.00ph DOE + enhanced overtime Hours: Days-based roles available, including 4-day working weeks with selected employers OBR Group are recruiting on behalf of several established manufacturing and engineering businesses that are looking to hire experienced MIG and TIG Welders. We have opportunities within workshop-based fabrication, precision engineering, heavy engineering and specialist manufacturing environments. Whether you are an experienced MIG Welder, TIG Welder or a Welder/Fitter with a mixture of skills, we would love to hear from you. What’s on Offer: Permanent, full-time positions with reputable local engineering companies. Hourly rates ranging from £16.50ph–£19.00ph depending on experience. Days-based working hours, with selected clients offering a 4-day working week and long weekends. Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates. Ongoing training, development and genuine progression opportunities. The Role: Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include: Carrying out MIG and/or TIG welding to a high standard. Welding a range of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Working from engineering drawings, job sheets and technical specifications. Fabricating, assembling and fitting components accurately. Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely. Completing visual quality checks and ensuring work meets required standards. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welder/Fabricator or Fabricator. Confidence welding to a high standard in a production, fabrication or engineering environment. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium or thin-gauge materials would be beneficial. Relevant welding qualifications or coding experience would be advantageous, but are not essential
